Short course

Coaching toward mental fitness

A short course for coaches who want to train mental skills alongside physical ones — how to build mental fitness into the training you already run, and the starting point for adding Flow 255® to your professional credentials.

US$45 — one payment, about an hour of material.

We also have a short course for the parents you work with

What it covers

Three units and a quiz

Theory first, then building a routine, then putting it to work in sessions you already run.

  • What drives performance?

The mental fitness theory the method rests on, at the depth a coach needs rather than the depth a psychologist needs.

  • Developing routines with impact

How a routine is built so that it holds up under pressure rather than only in practice — the part a coach can put to work the same week.

  • Implementing routines

Putting them into the training and performance events you already run, so mental fitness is part of the plan rather than a parallel activity beside it.

It is also the starting point for coaches and psychologists who want to get familiar with Flow 255 and add it to their professional certifications and credentials.

Who takes it

Four kinds of coach

  • Sports coaches

Anyone coaching athletes who compete under pressure, at any level where the gap between practice and competition is mental rather than physical.

  • Fitness and conditioning coaches

Anyone training individuals who have to perform critical actions under pressure, inside sessions they already run.

  • Psychologists

Practitioners who want a system to track and train clients with, rather than only to talk with them.

  • Coaches keeping a certification current

Certified coaches looking for professional development that carries continuing education credits.

What you get

An hour, a quiz, and the credits

  • About an hour

Three units and a quiz, self-paced. Video and PDF materials, so the written part stays with you afterwards.

  • Continuing education credits

Certified coaches receive continuing education credits for completing the course — the professional development that keeps a certification current.

  • It works on what you already run

Nothing here asks you to add a session to the week. The course is about fitting mental fitness into training and events that exist.

Questions coaches ask

› Do I need to be certified to take it?

No — any coach can take the course. The continuing education credits are the part that depends on it: credits are what a coach accumulates to keep an existing certification current, so a coach who does not hold one has nothing to apply them to. Everything else in the course works the same either way.

› Does it include the app or an assessment?

No. The short courses are video-driven and self-paced, and nothing in them measures where anyone stands or decides what they train. The 2Mynds app, and the assessment inside it, are separate.

› Is it only for sports coaches?

No. It is written for anyone coaching people who have to perform critical actions under pressure — sports coaches, fitness and conditioning coaches and psychologists all take it, and the material does not change with the activity.

› How long do I have access, and can I get a refund?

Access is unlimited — the course does not expire, and the written material stays with you. Once you have started the course there are no refunds.

› Is this the same as working with you directly?

No. This is a short course you take on your own. Training your staff as part of a squad or organization program is a different engagement — that is staff enablement, and it is a conversation rather than a checkout.

Buying for a squad or a staff rather than for yourself? See mental performance for sports organizations. For parents rather than coaches, there is a short course for parents.
