It’s about skills and having fun training them!
We are a small dynamic group of people with a mission to make the world a bit more myndful. To that end, we developed a method and a system for mind-body training (MBT). We help you develop mind-body skills and we help coaches support you in that development.
If you want to read more about what exactly 2Mynds mind-body training is you can check out this blog post , but here is our definition in a few words:
2Mynds mind-body training combines mental (mind) and physical (body) exercises in a single workout to make development of mental skills fun and functional.
The mental exercises are based on a method called functional meditation. You can learn more about it here. In its essence, functional meditation is an approach to meditative practice that is free from a lot of dogma and that implements functional situations in meditative training.
Just follow the steps
There is method to the 2Mynds madness. There is actually very little madness, although that we built cool tools (e-learning programs, e-training programs, and an app) to make the experience a lot of fun. The overall method is very simple, and it evolves around a step-by-step (and repeating) process of skill development: assessing, learning, training, and applying.
Customize from the start
We understand that everybody learns in different ways. Some of you like to dive right into the action and some of you want to know exactly what to do first. You can therefore customize where you start and which programs or workouts you focus on first. We do recommend everyone to do the free First Steps program first, simply to make sure you are aware of everything we have to offer and you can pick your next step wisely. To give it a try, simply register and login!
Everything at your fingertips
Once you are logged in, your menu and options will focus on helping you evaluate, learn, train and apply. You will now get access to a new menu with your learning dashboard (learn), your online workout room (train), and your application channel (apply). You can start learning with cool e-learning programs from your dashboard, get straight into exercising from your workout room, and learn more about how to apply your training via informative application videos.
We have designed the assessments and learning modules to be optimized for browsers. Doing workouts and checking applications works best via the apps. Use the app stores for Android or iOS to download the apps (they’re free).
Mind-body workouts are part mental and part physical. We are working on a cool new app that really taps into the unique nature of our workouts, but the current app already allows you to pick a wide variety of workouts that help you develop different aspects of your mental as well as physical fitness.
Are you a coach and want to help your students?
We have online training as well as hands-on workshops workshops for coaches. The training for coaches is currently divided in levels.
Level 1, which has an online program as well as a hands-on workshop, focuses on being able to apply things your students are learning and training themselves. Level 2 helps you integrate the training part in your existing activities with your students. Level 3 focuses explicitly on assessing and teaching, including creating custom workouts. Level 3 has two versions: one version exclusively for fitness coaches and one version for mental health experts.
